Supervisor

You’ll be leading our bar team day to day, making sure service runs smoothly and every guest has a great experience – consistently high standards, no exceptions, and a warm welcome all round.

  • Reports to: Restaurant Manager and Pool House (spa restaurant) Manager
  • Job type: Full-time, permanent

  • Manage the Bar service to consistently high standards to exceed customer expectations
  • Support the Restaurant Manager and Pool House (Spa Restaurant) Manager by working to exceed sales and revenue targets
  • Ensure your team maximise all sales opportunities
  • Deal with any escalated customer queries to a successful resolution
  • Responsible for the accurate management of all transactions during service
  • Manage stock levels, complete monthly stock takes.
  • Complete weekly orders for all bars throughout the hotel
  • Ensure all cellars/beverage storage areas are kept clean, tidy and well-organised at all times
  • To have a clear understanding of market trends and offer up costed ideas for menu development of drinks menus throughout the hotel
  • Work closely with drinks suppliers to ensure we are receiving the best available service, products and prices
  • Act as a role model for your staff proactively looking for things to do in quiet periods – direct them to do the same through leading by example
  • Manage, train, develop and coach team members
  • Any other duties as directed
